Subject Access Requests (SAR)

Current data protection legislation gives individuals a right of access to the personal data which organisations hold about them. Requests for access to personal data are known as subject access requests (SAR).

If you submit a SAR to EMWPREP, you are entitled to be told whether we hold any data about you, as well as being:

  • given a description of the personal data, the reasons it is being processed, and whether it will be given to any other organisations or people;
  • given a copy of the personal data; and
  • given details of the source of the data (where this is available).

Requests for access to personal data must be made in writing. For ease please complete EMWPREP’s Subject Access Request (SAR) Form below, which is designed to gather the information we need to identify you, communicate with you and locate data about you. When completing the SAR form, please be as specific as possible about the information which you want access to, as this will assist us in processing your request fully and promptly.
